Do you have a REAL ID? Beginning May 3, 2023, all Avelo Airlines customers will need a state-issued REAL ID-compliant driver’s license or identification card, or another acceptable form of ID (such as a passport), to fly within the United States. If you plan to fly on or after May 3, 2023, please be sure to travel with the appropriate form(s) of identification.
Everyone needs to confirm their travel flight plans and receive a boarding pass. The easiest way to do this is on-line at www.aveloair.com using any web enabled device (computer, smart phone, tablet, etc) or on our mobile app.
All Avelo Airlines customers must confirm their flight plans and receive a boarding pass prior to entering the security checkpoint at the airport. Your boarding pass will include your legal name as well as the airline name (Avelo Airlines), your flight number, your boarding group number, your departure gate, your departure and arrival cities, your boarding time, your departure time and your seat assignment (when applicable). You can either obtain your boarding pass online ahead of time or you can have it printed at the Avelo ticket counter at the airport — whichever method you are most comfortable with.
The Avelo flight check-in process is simple and straightforward. You can either check in for your flight online at www.aveloair.com on any web-enabled device or you can do so using the Avelo mobile app, which is available on both Apple and Android devices. As part of the check-in process, you will be asked to confirm some personal information for the customers you will be checking in. You will also be asked to agree to several security measures once you arrive at the airport.
If you forget to check in for your flight, fear not — we will send you a reminder email within 24 hours of your departure time, so you can conveniently check in for your flight.
Yes, you can check in, change your flight (no change or cancellation fees) and check the status of your flight from any web-enabled device. That includes desktop computers, laptops, smartphones and tablets.
If you retrieve your boarding pass on our mobile app, consider taking a screenshot of your boarding pass before you get to the airport in case you have internet connectivity issues at the terminal. We also recommend leaving for the airport with a fully charged device to ensure a smooth check-in and security checkpoint experience.
If you plan to print a boarding pass at the airport, simply check in for your flight via your web-enabled device and proceed to the Avelo ticket counter at the airport. The system will recognize that you have already checked in for your flight. All you need to do is request a reprint of your boarding pass. The boarding pass will reflect the boarding group found on the check-in confirmation screen on your mobile device.
Beginning 24 hours prior to your scheduled departure time, customers with eligible reservations may check in for their Avelo flight online at www.aveloair.com or via the Avelo mobile app.
Be sure to check in for your Avelo flight at least 40 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time. This will help ensure a smooth check-in process and allow you plenty of time to reach your gate before your departure time.
Please note that heightened security and other issues may prevent some customers from qualifying for online check-in.
