Yale Athletics Partners with Avelo Airlines

Sponsorship deal takes effect immediately with presence at Bulldog gamedays

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Yale University Athletics has announced a partnership with Avelo Airlines. Avelo, which has its East Coast hub based out of Tweed New-Haven Airport (HVN), offers travel to six destinations in Florida as well as Myrtle Beach, Charleston, Hilton Head and Nashville.

As a Yale Athletics partner, Avelo will be a prominent part of Bulldog gamedays which include in-event promotions, digital signage, contests, banners, social media campaigns, public address announcements and more. Avelo will also be on hand with Handsome Dan and Boola in different community engagement opportunities.

Yale’s first home game with its new partner Avelo is today’s women’s hockey ECAC Championship semifinal matchup at 3 p.m., as the No. 7 Bulldogs take on Princeton at Ingalls Rink.
