BROWNSVILLE / SOUTH PADRE ISLAND, Texas.; April 24, 2024 — Avelo Airlines announced today it has surpassed flying 100 flights between Brownsville / South Padre Island (via BRO) and Los Angeles. The airline operates nonstop flights from BRO to L.A.’s most popular airport – Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR) – and to Orlando, Florida (via MCO).

The BRO – BUR route will take a brief, scheduled break beginning April 27th. Service will resume on Wednesday, May 22nd. The route will operate twice weekly on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Very low, celebratory fares start at $106* and can be booked at AveloAir.com.
