NEW HAVEN, Conn.; Feb. 6, 2024 — Avelo Airlines today announced it is expanding service from Southern Connecticut’s most convenient airport — Tweed-New Haven Airport (HVN) — to four new nonstop destinations: Atlanta; Charlotte, North Carolina; Knoxville, Tennessee; and Destin, Florida.

With the addition of these new routes, Avelo will serve 21 nonstop destinations from Tweed, offering more nonstop routes from Connecticut than any other airline operating in the state.

Avelo will be the only airline offering nonstop service from Southern Connecticut to these four popular destinations. Additionally, Avelo is the only airline offering nonstop flights from Connecticut to Knoxville and Destin, and the only low-fare airline offering flights to Atlanta and Charlotte.

Atlanta, Georgia via Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport (ATL)
