Avelo Airlines Takes Off in Lexington with Nonstop Service to Orlando

LEXINGTON, Ky.; Oct. 19, 2022 — Avelo Airlines today begins service from Lexington, Kentucky with exclusive nonstop service to Orlando’s most convenient airport, Orlando International Airport (MCO). Arriving at MCO now means getting to Walt Disney World, Universal Studios and Orlando’s most popular hotels and resorts takes half the time, allowing more time to explore local attractions and Central Florida.  

Very low one-way fares between Lexington’s Blue Grass Airport (LEX) and MCO start at $49*. Customers can make reservations at AveloAir.com. Avelo will also begin serving Tampa via Tampa International Airport (TPA) beginning November 12. 

LEX’s new Avelo routes will operate on Boeing Next-Generation 737 aircraft. The new routes will operate on Boeing Next-Generation 737 aircraft. Flights to and from MCO will be twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays through October 23 and will switch to Wednesdays and Saturdays beginning October 26.
