AGUADILLA, Puerto Rico; June 24, 2026 — Avelo Airlines today announced exclusive nonstop service and two new routes from Aguadilla, Puerto Rico’s Rafael Hernández Airport (BQN) to Southern Connecticut’s most convenient airport – Tweed-New Haven Airport (HVN) and Central Florida’s Lakeland International Airport (LAL). Avelo is the first and only airline offering nonstop service between these two destinations and Aguadilla. Aguadilla, which marks another expansion of Avelo beyond the continental United States, will be the second Puerto Rican destination Avelo serves, joining San Juan.
